Pronunciation of ‘ED’ verbs

With English not being as phonetic as some other languages, students can incorrectly stress the 'ED' at the end of a regular verb such as: walked, talked, jammed, braked, snapped, tapped etc It is interesting that once knowing that the 'ED' should not be stressed, some people cannot follow this general rule whilst other forget.
